One to One Coaching

Get a refreshingly practical perspective on your situation with personalised coaching support.

Working with a personal coach on a one-to-one basis has the potential to transform your way of thinking and change the way you show up for yourself and others for good. All I ask is that you come to me with the willingness to embrace a new approach!

Coaching IS:

A wonderful way to bring your life back into alignment. Use coaching as an opportunity to check in with yourself and redefine your goals.

A chance to deal with everything that’s holding you back. Because doing the inner work now will pay dividends later!

A safe space for progress at your own pace. You get to explore what growth looks like to you, in a wholly confidential environment.

Coaching IS NOT:

A quick fix solution. It takes time to make change happen, and you need to be patient with yourself.

Only for the elite. Coaching is important for professionals at every stage of their career.

Out of budget for most people. There are options to suit all circumstances, and coaching is more affordable than you think.

My coaching style

At the start of your coaching session, I will always ask you: “where are you today?”. Sometimes we feel brave, upbeat, and ready for a challenge, while on other occasions we feel too raw and vulnerable for the deeper work. I open every meeting with this line because I want to gauge how I can best support you in any given moment, and how I can make sure you can benefit the most from our time together. That’s not to say I will be entirely led by your emotions, however. It’s my job to recognise when you need space and time to process your feelings, and when you need to be softly pushed in a new direction.

I was fortunate to have access to 6 coaching sessions with Jo. It’s been a hugely rewarding experience. Jo asks questions that allow me to reflect on my own skills and knowledge encouraging me to recognise my own goals and values. Jo has a friendly approach that encourages a supportive space promoting the opportunities for me to develop insight into areas I may wish to develop both personally and professionally. I would highly recommend coaching with Jo.

Corporate coaching options

As well as working with individuals directly, I am happy to develop corporate coaching programmes for employers and their teams that focus on ways to manage stress more effectively, boost personal and professional resilience, and improve performance. These schemes can include insights into how to hold positive and effective coaching conversations with others in the workplace.

My experience within the NHS and across many other cross-functional environments has exposed me to all sorts of scenarios and enabled me to support people at all stages of life – and my extensive training has equipped me with the tools to instigate positive change at a personal, behavioural and cultural level. So, whatever you need, and however you want to manage your progress, I’m confident I can help you navigate your corporate challenges.
